Did We Get Your Intention?

With the importance of animated content on the rise, it’s no surprise that Google My Business (GMB) has introduced the option to upload videos onto business knowledge panels.

The new feature offers businesses a more dynamic and interactive way to attract users’ attention on SERP and Google Maps. It’s all pretty straightforward – just head to the GMB ‘Photos’ dashboard and upload your video. It can be a maximum length of 30 seconds, and it’ll take up to 24 hours to appear.

We all know that GIFs and videos tend to work better than static images in PPC display ads. So, here at Flourish, we try to incorporate them as much as possible.

The shift to video is causing lots of users to review their content. But before you snap your clapper board, here are a couple little tips. Don’t try to cram everything into one short video. Keep it top-line. And try to create content that engages your audience while clearly explaining your product / service and USPs. And if you can do it all in 30 seconds, you’re onto a winner.

If you need some pointers with editing or creating new video content, don’t be shy. Pop an email to our General Manager, Ian Reeves.
